Well made and heavy construction

These are very nice pans. They seem sturdy and are dimensionally stable when heated. Some of our old pans would actually change shape slightly when they got really hot. My one complaint is that the first time I washed them, the drain holes along the bottom side released a brown discharge of fluid. This was not due other dishes as we washed them the first time with only some water cups due to their size taking up most of the washer. After the first time I didn't see it again. I suspect that it's some leftover debris from the manufacturing process. It smelled metallic, like iron filings.
