Lid with plastic bottom, but works well

I either got a wrong product or there’s a mix-up in the advertisement, because the lid is plastic on the inside, and there’s plastic where the handle connects on the inner side. That was disappointing — I would return it if I could.Aside from that, the bottom and the kettle itself appear durable and it does work as advertised. After the water boils, the outside stays warm to touch but not hot. The handle is comfortable, it’s easy to fill, and the interior of the kettle itself is stainless steel. There’s no fine mesh filter, so if you have hard water you won’t get that fine filtering of particles between descaling.The design is beautiful, and the printed parts have a texture you can feel — not completely smooth. Overall, it looks great and works well, I just really wish it didn’t have plastic inside for that price, that was a let down.

Daughter loves tea!

I got this for my daughter who loves to drink tea. Auto arrived quickly. The pictured packaging was wrapped in shipping bag, material and taped and also inside a separate Amazon box. Upon taking it out of the wrapping, the box was found in the condition pictured.It heats quickly Functional and easy to clean. Whether or not it’s rust resistant, time will tell, but it is listed as stainless steel. I don’t really care about plastic in the body of an item, so long as it isn’t contaminating the area of the water source. so long as it is not part of the area that the water will be heated in. Plastic content is only an issue in such cases. If the heating element holds up, this should be a great item.
