Very durable water jug. Impressive size and seems to be built to take to jobsites and hold up to the conditions that would be thrown at it. I like the stainless steel due to the fact it can take a bigger beating that any colored will, and it will still look great after years of use and heavy wear. Doesn't leak, holds cold liquids cold in the baking sun, cleans well with bigmouth opening, love the lid option as well. Great product!! 6 stars out of 5!!!
I bought one of those usb rechargable water dispensers and use this as my water faucet when I cook at my Truck's tailgate. The $15 ones on Amazon that are for 5 gallon water dispenser jugs. I just had to shorten it's hose a little. When camping, I keep two large 5 gallon Nato water jugs strapped behind my passenger seat. This 1 gallon water jug saves me from walking back and forth to get water while cooking and cleaning when camping. Usually refill about once a day, unless i cook pasta or something that needs a lot of water.The double wall construction keeps water cool, and I prefer the taste of water stored in metal containers. Perfect size for shorter road trips too. When I drive somewhere to do a long bike ride, this 1 gallon jug is the perfect extra amount of water to bring. Doesn't leak when it trips over. The larger screw on/off lid, makes the stainless container easy to clean. My wife can reach her hand and arm in to clean, my hand is just a tiny bit too big. I use a dishwashing brush for glasses. Easy to get everything clean regardless.I like how the water dispenser cap stays attached when unscrewed. Good design, won't lose it. And the carry handle of the screw on lid, is very robust. This thing will probably outlive me.
Fantastic bottle. Looked for a long time. I work outdoors in the summer heat of Louisiana and hydration is a must. This gives me enough water for the day so I can keep focused and finish my job and sweat it all out again 💦😅 love the handle. It's solid built. It keeps the water cool. I might not be the best judge on that cause I don't put ice in it. But my water stays room temperature over the day as it was when I filled it up.
Well made. Holds a lot. Easy to clean. Handles daily use dependably. It keeps cold water cold through the day. Would definitely buy again.

Due to other reviewers' complaints about not keeping things cold, I filled my 1 gallon jug with ice the day I received it. after 120 hours, the jug still has 1/2 ice, 1/2 liquid in it. The only reason I down-rated from 5 to 4 stars is that the cap doesn't swing freely on the retention ring. It's a little notchy, but I'm sure that this is to keep the cap in whatever position you open it to so that it stays out of the way.
WOW way bigger than I expected but thats fine because I use this as my filtered camping water. Love the big handle and pouring spout. Great for a weekend trip for a single person for morning tea and cooking.
