Smaller mitts provide more flexibility, well made, great price

I love these half-mitts - this is our third pair (second for camping/vacation kitchen box, third for my son's college apartment). They fit with a bit of room, not too tight at all. While they don't protect my wrists, I find they are easier to use than full-sized oven mitts, giving me more flexibility. The material is very thick - I've never had an issue with feeling the heat through the neoprene palms, nor have I had any mishaps with the outer glove. The outer material is strong, with very little wear and tear over time. I use the red ones so I can find them easily when I put them down in unexpected places. They are supposedly machine washable, but I've only ever cleaned them with warm soapy water, as I don't want to compromise the seams where the neoprene meets the glove. The price for these mitts is great.

They are just right - my other pair just wore out.. these have the silicone for the best heat resistants - others do not so be sure to get the silicone.. . They are not as bulky as the full size Sometimes you need a full length thought for protection..

Very short

We ended up returning this product for two main reasons:One - it is VERY small. I have small hands and on putting it on, it barely covered my hand. And my husband, (whose hands are bigger) literally had to squeeze his hands in to get them on.Secondly, as they are SO short, at least your wrist, if not part of your hand is completely exposed to any splashes or heat.As for the positives it is well made. (I just wish there was more of it length wise.)The material inside is soft, the material on the outside is well designed and the gripping material is thick and looks it would keep your fingers from getting burned.So you get what you pay for, as the price is good, but be aware only your fingers and some of your hand will be protected.
