Just used this last night to make candles. While I need to get an exacto knife, they turned out alright for a first try. My friend’s mom passed away and she said she’d turn into a butterfly, so I made her a butterfly candle. These were really easy to use and didn’t melt. They also held up well and didn’t break when taking them out. The size was perfect. The designs were different. This was a great value!
This mold has so many pretty designs, but the cavities with the tiny holes are a pain. Cleaning them after use took longer than I would have liked, and afterward I did have to examine those particular designs/cavities to make sure they were actually clean.The cavities are shallow but the mold itself is study and made of thick silicone. It did not require a cutting board or tray to keep it even after I poured my candy, but I used one anyway, just to be sure.I really like molds like this; multiple designs in various sizes all in one mold. Saves a ton of space, feels like there's less to clean, and I can have different designs curing in one mold instead of a bunch of tiny ones.
