Almost great cheese grater
First off, this works really well. You can grate cheese in NO time. I like that the suction holds it down so there's no risk of it coming off the counter. It's easy to use, but not the most convenient. It is a bit bulky to store. I tried storing it in the package it came in, which meant I had to disassemble it when I want to do so.. though you need to disassmble it after each use to clean it. I like the 3 different graters it comes with. I bet it would be nice for more than just cheese, but i've just used cheese. And let me just reiterate, it's really impressive how much cheese you can shred in so little time! Aside from the bulky components and cumbersome storage, I also don't like the way the last of the cheese brick gets caught in between the roller and the inside walls. There's too much space, so you can't finish grating your entire block, you have to settle for little chunks that can't be grated at the end, which you have to retrieve after disassembling it. But overall, I like it, and I may look for a better one with more storage options and of higher quality.

Great little manual winding grater
This is a very nice manual grinding machine. I got the chance to try is out last night on some Gouda cheese, and it did great. It grated it to where only a thin sliver was left. I used the finest grater, and it was quick and easy. It's very easy to take apart to clean, and easy to clean. It has a suction on the bottom that you can engage, by turning a knob. I first tried it on my glass top stove, and it didn't work, but when I tried it on my countertop, it worked great. And if I pushed down while I was turning the knob, it made the suction quite a bit stronger. This is a great little, versatile machine, and I heartily recommend it!

Pretty nice shredder. Definitely faster and easier than a fully manual grater.
This is my first time using anything other than a box style manual grater. I probably should have ordered one of these sooner because for me it's much faster and easier than my old way of doing it. I mainly use this for hard cheeses like parmesan and vegetables like carrots.It's very easy to set this up. The suction in the base work very well to secure the shredder down to my table or counter. Installation of the cutting blade is easy as well. My only issue is that when fully installed the connection between the handle/blade assembly and the housing is kind of sloppy in my opinion. There is definitely play and at first I thought maybe my shredder was missing a bearing or bushing that was supposed to install with the handle but according to the instructions everything is there and installed correctly. When I use this I find it best to use some inward pressure when cranking and it seems to operate more smoothly.Overall I think this is a pretty nice kitchen tool and it definitely makes my jobs easier and take less time. I consider it to be a fair value.

Good price, and strikes the balance between 'enough choices' and 'too many pieces.' The graduated cones help prevent clogs, and as others have noted, cleaning is quick and easy. Other things I like about it include the overall size (stores comfortably in a drawer, not something I can say for all products in this family) and a base that so far works in keeping things stable.What I wouldn't do/expect: regular hard use. This is not really a huge critique, just an observation that this is plastic (and priced accordingly). It's not stainless steel, and I wouldn't expect this to hold up well to frequent use. But if you want a good home grater, this is excellent.
