This lid fits my 12" frying pan perfectly! My hubby assembled it in just a couple of minutes. The handle fit the lid no problem, and it looks great! It is somewhat light (not heavy), but pretty sturdy. I have yet to use it, but it seems of good quality. I am very pleased with this purchase.

My son didn't have any issues attaching the handle. It cleaned up well. I will enjoy using a lid that fits my cast iron skillet.
This cover is a perfect fit for an 8" skillet. I like it because it allows you to see what's going on in the pan while you have the cover on. It also has built in hole for allow steam to escape. It is very sturdily built and feels solid in your hand. It is a very well made product for sure. The reason that I only gave it 4 stars is because I returned the first one I received because the glass was cloudy - obviously something went wrong during production - but it was easily returned and a replacement was received so no harm done. I realize things happen sometimes but they were quick to make it right so I really couldn't be happier with my purchase or with Amazon and the company that produces the product!
