Good purchase
Was legit. After seasoning it, not much to say or do but to use it. Heavy but not like cast iron from wayyyyy back when but it works just as well.

This item is great. Cleaning can be a little challenging but it’s worth the effort. It’s like grilling bbq inside your kitchen when you can’t go outside. Yahoo!!!
Had not seen Back Country cast iron pans before. Glad I tried them great quality and heavy pans will last a life time.
I made some tasty honey-miso glazed pork chops and mustard greens last night in this lovely pan. I oiled the pan well before I cooked the food. The chops turned out nice and moist with delicious grill marks on them from the Maillard Reaction (browning) and the mustard greens were bright green and beautifully tender. Totally scrumptious!! I knew not to soak the pan in water so I covered it with oil to try to soften the gunk the greens left. When I went to clean it this morning I had a rude surprise. The greens were stuck on So F'n Bad it took me over 1/2 an hour of hard scraping with a large serving spoon to get it clean. I finished it off with a soapy scrubby sponge and hot water and finally got it nice and clean. Then I oiled it good and put it in the oven at 200º to dry it completely and let the oil soak in and season it. It looks great now but my arm is killing me and my back aches from all that scrubbing! I knocked off a star for the fact that it certainly was not non-stick. Maybe next time it'll clean up easier. I sure do hope so! I'm pleased with it overall and would recommend it to anyone wanting a nice grill pan. Just be forewarned that some foods may stick to it! Oh, It's Really heavy too so if you have weak arms it may not be for you! Helps that is has handles on both ends.
Sturdy and heavy, good for cooking. After use I wash with no soup and cover it all with olive oil.
First time i ever owned one and am thankfully it has instruction how to maintain. So far it is working well for me. Of course the weight is heavy but expected to a cast iron.
excellent product
