Great knife - I bought this for carving a ham - this is a great length, the edge divots do the trick. Arrived sharp and the steel holds a nice edge. This length hits a good sweet spot - not too long to be unmanagable, but a great length for carving meat, etc.
This knife worked wonders carving the Thanksgiving turkey. It is sturdy enough and cuts through the meat evenly. It was the perfect size for our big Tom! The handle is comfortable and the knife isn't terribly expensive.
I bout this because my 12” & 10” slicers are a bit too big sometimes when I smoke chuck roasts. This size works well for 2-3 lb roasts. Cuts true. Handle has good grip. One complaint, what ever (I’m assuming) plasticizer they use for the handle in the mold left a greasy film on the blade (near the handle) and it took several hand washings to remove. But overall happy with purchase.
Great knife for cutting rib racks and brisket. Sharp blade, but not razor sharp. Razor sharp is too dangerous to use in my opinion. Knife appears and feels solid. I’d buy it again.
The knife looks to be good quality. The only issue is that I got an orange one and I ordered a green one.
Sharp & sturdy. Price was perfect!
