The slicer is powerful and works perfectly. It can make incredibly thin slices. Easy to adjust and I like the metal parts rather than plastic. It’s easy to setup but the instructions are useless. I weep for the tree sacrificed for the useless paper. It’s no more or less easy to clean than any home slicer. I’d buy it again.
The slicer works well right out of the box. Clean up was not bad.Assembly and Disassembly was easy.

I worked in Catering and Deli when I was younger, used the old Hobart Machines.so I'm very competent with a Slicing Machine.After checking out the various slicers here from under $100 with the serrated , slow turning blade, to the $350 plus pro slicers, I decided on this intermediate one.It's all aluminum so it doesn't way a ton like the steel ones, and it has a 200 watt motor, good for home slicing.There are better ones that cost around 4-500 dollars and have 300 watt plus, faster motors, and considerably heavier.But for limited home use this one works really good. I like to slice an Eye-round for great RB sandwiches.Also it's pretty east to clean as the motor is well protested from water under the base, so I just take off the carriage and blade guard and set it on the table outside and spray if off with the hose.Then, after it drip dries, spray and wipe with 90% rubbing alcohol to kill any lingering bacteria, then store away for next time.I HIGHLY RECOMEND this machine as an affordable option to the bigger pro slicers and certainly much better than the cheaper, serrated blade ones that are about useless with an Eye-Round.

I spent about two weeks researching which model to get. After watching several news articles about how bad deli meat is for health, and paying $10.99 to $14.99 per pound for what I thought was healthy meat, I decided slicing my own would be a better decision for my family.So for $60 at Costco I bought 5 pounds turkey breast, 4 pounds ham, and 5 pounds corn beef. Just the ham alone would have cost me $45 at King Soopers. With just this first batch of meat, I have paid almost 40% of the cost of the slicer. And I know exactly what is in the meat.The other important issue for me was noise. I needed something that did not sound like an airplane was landing in my apartment. This thing is so quiet, and so smooth, that it just made the investment that much more worth it.The item was packed extraordinarily well and was very easy to put together and to clean up after slicing. Total cleanup took me 10 minutes.At this price point, it’s hit or miss whether or not the product comes with a sharpening stone, and this one does so no need to have a second blade as this one can be continually sharpened.The product appears extremely well-built and Ianticipate getting a lot of use from it. This is all the benefits of a higher priced unit for $150 less.
