These are GREAT straws!
I LOVE THESE STRAWS!! I am concerned about ingesting microplastics from plastic straws, cups, dishes, etc., but I really LOVE drinking from straws. I drink smoothies and/or kefir every day, and I most enjoy these beverages when I drink them through a straw. But, I started to be concerned about drinking through plastic straws. I thought about using stainless steel straws, but I prefer to be able to see through a reusable straw, to be able to be sure I've cleaned them thoroughly between uses. I was hesitant to try glass straws, since I was afraid they might be too fragile and break easily. But these straws are made from borosilicate glass and seem to be a good thickness and feel nice and sturdy to me. I feel very comfortable drinking through them. And the larger straws (the ones without a bend in them) are nice and wide, so they're really good for smoothies and kefir when they are nice and thick like milkshakes.I got the colored straws since I thought the colors would be more fun. The larger (straight) colored straws can be seen through clearly, but the smaller colored straws with the bend in them are harder to see through, but this set includes two good straw cleaning brushes that do a good job of cleaning the inside of the straws, so I’m happy with my choice of the colored straws, although the clear straws seem like a good choice to me, too, especially if you want to easily see through the smaller straws. Even though I like being able to see through straws, and the smaller straws of this set are more opaque than I’d prefer, I’m still glad I got the colored set, since I like the colors and I feel confident that the included cleaning brushes do a good job of thoroughly cleaning these straws.Another thing I really like about these straws is how smooth the ends are (where they touch your lips). If a straw has sharp edges, it really bothers me (which can be a problem with some stainless steel straws). I like the rounded and smooth edges on the ends of these straws better than any plastic, paper or steel straws that I’ve ever used. These are the first glass straws I’ve ever used, so I don’t know if all glass straws have such nice edges or not. I'm so glad I gave these straws a try - they are better than I expected and I’m very happy with them!

This 10 pack of glass straws is just as described. The glass is not thin, it’s thicker and does not feel like it’ll break easily. Obviously it’s glass so it could break, but my point it that I don’t feel like I am going to break one if I squeeze it too hard!They are also smooth and a good diameter for smoothies. I feel good about being able to wash and reuse them! The little cleaners that they come with make washing a breeze. No more throwing away plastic straws!I started using them immediately and after washing them I realized I did not have a great way to store them. I hadn’t taken them all out of the pack so I kept the cardboard they came so nicely in and have been using that to store them once they dry.5/5 stars from me. Strength, durability, and environmentally friendly are the top reasons I would recommend these to a friend!

Defective small straws
Poor quality on the small colored straws. They had odd bumps on them, although clear straws seemed perfect.

Great quality for the price, love these straws.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these straws! The glass is thicker and heavier, similar to some other sturdy handblown glass I own. They all seem to be handling the dishwasher well, and don't rattle around at all. I love that they're thick enough to throw in with the silverware and not have them end up in the bottom of the dishwasher - so nice to have a bunch so I don't have to constantly hand wash straws. I'm clumsy and don't trust myself with a lot of glass, but I mostly trust these. The straight, longer straws are almost thick enough for boba, but *almost*. They're better suited for milkshakes, frappes, or smoothies. The smaller, bent ones are perfect for a can of soda or smaller tumblers. It would've been nice to have some kind of container to hold them since I do worry a little about throwing them in a drawer, but no real complaints for the price. I love them!

Versatile, and Easy to Clean Glass Straws

Glass straw set of 10
These reusable glass straws are really well made and attractive. The 10 pack includes 5 translucent straight straws that are wider and longer than a standard straw; not as wide as a boba straw but wide enough for thicker things like smoothies. Then there are 5 bent straws that are opaque and not translucent, and they're more of a standard width and length. The colors are clear, green, blue, and yellow for both sets, and there are two different straw cleaning brushes included with two different widths.The straws are strong and smooth with no rough edges or weak glass. They go through the dishwasher easily, though I always use the brush under running water to clean the inside before I put them in there. I prefer glass to plastic reusable straws because they're easier to clean and don't hold germs as easily, and they don't deform with heat.
