These silicone spoons are fantastic. What sets them apart are their durability and large value pack size. I’ve replaced most of my cooking utensils with these spoons. The best thing is that the core seems to be steel and doesn’t break and isn’t floppy. I’ve purchased many silicone kitchen tools in the past that break when mixing batters and doughs. That is not the case with these spoons, would purchase again.
We've tossed our black plastic utensils and needed to replace with silicon products. I split this large set with my daughter because there are so many. They work great for stirring sauces, pasta, etc. If I could improve this set, I would make half of them slotted, and the bowl just a smidge deeper so thy would hold more when using them to serve with.
I prefer wooden spoons as they are stronger & hold up better over time, my husband detests wooden cooking utensils of any kind. We bought these as a compromise and we are both very happy with them! They stand up to hot pots (no melting) and sticky or thick whatever that needs a spoon that doesn’t bend. Will buy again.
Simple, colorful silicone spoons that would be a good substitute for wooden spoons.They're (thankfully) not all silicone. There's a stiffener rod through the handle, so the spoons are rigid despite the non-scratch silicone coating. Dishwasher-safe, of course.
