I'm rather impressed with these cutters. They are made from one piece, bent into shape. The seam is tight and secure. The edges are sharp enough to cut cleanly but not actually cut skin or anything. Would be fine for children to use. The edges you are pressing on are folded and crimped giving a more comfortable feel. The larger ones can be deformed if you squeeze, but as long as you aren't overly rough, you shouldn't have any issues.Overall, I'm happy with them and for the cost of under $15 for 10 pieces feel it's a good price for the quality.Peace and fun creating
As an art teacher, I have a large collection of cookie cutters I make available to my students for many different non-edible applications. These can be used as a guide for drawing, or to cut clay out in the shape and size desired. They work with polymer clay, air dry clay, or standard ceramic clay. It's nice to have the range of sizes in the same shape. These are somewhat more unusual shapes that I haven't seen before, so it is a fun addition to the collection.
My wife says: I was attracted to these cookie cutters because of the set of arches. I am going to use them to make doors and windows for the fairy houses I make for my grandchildren out of cone 5/6 wet clay. The cookie cutters are well described in the listing and pictures. They all cut cleanly with a minimum of distortion at the joins. I am happy with them and would recommend them.
This is a solid set with so many possibilities, rainbow or just an archway, diamond or use on it's side with writing, lots of ideas! and the sizes make a mini cookie easy to offer as well.
I like the variety of sizes in the same shape, going from quite small to quite large. These are sharp, give good edges on relatively softer dough, and clean up well.
