Have been wanting to learn to use chopsticks for a long time. I have been practicing on things like Cheetos. Really helpful to have the little bridge thing on it to keep the top part from crossing over. Hopefully one day I won't need it.

These work ok. They still take some getting used to but my son is able to pick up more stuff with his chopsticks than without them.
I've been trying to get my kids to use chopsticks and while I have the kid chopsticks at home, I don't always remember to bring them and some of them can be bulky, so it's not always convenient to bring them anyways. What is great about these helpers is that I can go to any asian restaurant and bust these out and use it with their chopsticks be it wooden or not. It's easy to apply and these are way more lightweight to bring around in my purse. I just have to remember to take it off and bring it back with me, but then there are 10, so I can afford to forget them once or twice. While these don't really teach you how to use them properly, but they help my kids learn the pinch aspect and can actually use them to pick up food and that's the start of using chopsticks initially, until they learn better hand and grip stretch and dexterity.
They are a great way to "save face" when you're chopstick challenged.....
