A Fabulous Unique Set With A Zillion Uses- You'll Love These!
This is one product that ends up being one of the best & greatest must haves for anyone that prepares, serves, or eats meals. If you're in that category, for a thousand different reasons, you NEED these-especially if you have a family with kiddos bringing their friends in & out of the house at all hours. This is a lightweight, flat edged set of ten (10) highly polished silver dinner plates. I was surprised at how pretty these are, as I was basically expecting a cheaper looking budget style dinner plates set. You know how the pizza plates at so many pizza places clatter and rattle when being moved around? That tinny, dull, look, sound, & feel doesn't exist with this set. These can be used as dinner plates set at the table, or serving plates, where a pizza is placed on one plate and slices are cut & served from it. The plates are 10" across, definitely a large adult sized dining plate, & the design of them is very high end. They have a wonderful style to them- in that they are surprisingly lightweight, very thin and super shiny. They are very round, bordered by just enough of a distinct raised edge, which gives them a more finished look. More importantly, (and this thought actually flitted through my head the first time I used these plates as a surprise, when dishing out yet another pizza dinner for the family) food won't go sliding off slapstick style, and end up creating a hugely undignified end to the meal! (Sorry for the odd thought described here, but I think it helps explain the sense of whimsy I hoped to show the family when I thought seriously about getting these plates for the family). They just seemed like they'd be a really fun way to bring some smiles to the slightly boring pizza nights we have so often-when the chaos of the day leads to pizza being the closest thing I can provide that even slightly resembles a meal before breaking out the cereal or giving up on dinner altogether. You've had those kind of nights too-I imagine we all have! When I came across this sort of unusual set, simply comprised of dinner plates, my second thought was that the last thing I needed, was yet another set of casual dinnerware. Wait! Surprise, readers-I'm telling you, I was so wrong to hesitate in ordering this fabulous 10 piece dinner plates set. They allow me to be extremely creative, and wonderfully fun! I can entertain my family and friends in a million different ways so easily through using them. From throwing several in a basket to take the makings for an impulsive picnic with me, to making a humorous big deal out of a family pizza night, these allow me to make just a little bit of magic so easily, and it really still surprises me each time I think of yet another way to have my precious fun, aided by my really cool canteen style set of dining plates. They're like an accessory that helps me come up with new, unique ways to pretend to be brilliantly creative. Now, one of the best parts is-These are so unbelievably easy to take care of! They can go in the oven & air fryer and even be set on a warming stone, keeping a meal ready to eat for a missing family member still at work. They make great appetizer plates to set out in a buffet line. They don't let food stick to them, even when leaving the leftovers out for too long to salvage. They are super easy to carry and set out without any possibility of breaking them. I have even taken them outside to use them for cooking with a campfire. A real one. Family room smores, anyone? YEP- they were perfect for every step. I used them on my grill- with a little bit of oil they made perfect grilled veggies, and my mushrooms couldn't fall through! They are so lightweight to carry around- for setting the table to clearing the dishes into the sink, they wash super easily, dry quickly, don't get scratched up by kitchen knives, and they don't chip or break when dropped! Lastly, just to give you one more reason to consider if you are thinking of getting something like these for you, or a unique gift for family or friends. I even baked cookies on these! I used them like cookie sheets for the baking part, for cooling them on my air fryer rack. These came beautifully packaged, and arrived in a timely fashion.
