The quality of the pot is very good. It’s very easy to clean. I like the clear cover and the thick layer bottom. It’s perfect to use on my electric stove.
I cook a lot of big soups every week, and this pot has the perfect form for me, with more width than height you can cook more evenly. Also has a sturdy construction, it feels like is going to endure for ever.
This soup pot is the perfect size, 10 qt, not too tall, just perfect to double recipes!
Satisfied with the purchase. It is not very heavy but does well on the stove. (I have electric with coils) I cooked tomato basil soup in it. Easy clean up, no stain. Impressed that the handles didn't get hot. It is a very good looking pot as well. (Mentioned last because the cooking matters most!!) Looking forward to cooking other soups.
Bought this to use while we’re camping in our RV. Wow, it works great for big batches of soup, cooking corn on the cob, and cleans up easily. Cooks uniformly. Lid is sturdy. Took it out of the RV and brought it into the house to use in my kitchen. Worth the money.
A series of small spots appeared at the bottom of the pot after I cooked (simmered) chicken in it. I unsuccesfully tried removing the spots with a steel wool pad. Apparently, the "finish" of the metal peeled off (is stainless steel just the finish). Even if some may say that you get for what you pay, I have had some IKEA pots for years and they metal is just as perfect as it was the first day! Goodbye, Feliicia!
