I really like these glasses -- it took me a long time to decide on the size because there are many 16 oz, 17 oz, 18 oz, 23 oz glasses you can buy, but this size turns out to be just right for American, British or even abbey beers. I thought the gold in the base would be strange, but it really looks great, and the base is just the right thickness. Nice product, I think It's the right thickness, and it's worth the price.

These look like regular beer glasses until you pick one up. They are heavy with most of the weight at the base just as it should be. These feel like quality due to the weight. Very different than a glass in a bar.The gold foil in the base is suspended in a liquid. You can shake the empty glass and see the snow glove effect. The gold foil is a curiosity more than something that enhances the aesthetics of the glass in my opinion.Overall these are really nice glasses. The weight is really key to the feeling of quality.
I like the look and the cool gold flake in liquid that is on the bottom inside the glass. The big problem for me is they are so thin at the top I would be afraid to even cheers my buddy. Plus I like a frosted mug and I don't see this lasting very long in a freezer. They are large and if they were a bit thicker they would be quality and a value. Unfortunately with the glass so thin that I can not recommend these.
