The 100 Pcs Banneton Liner is an essential tool for any baker looking to perfect their bread-making process. Crafted from high-quality non-woven fabric, this proofing basket liner is designed to prevent dough from sticking, especially when working with wet and high-hydration doughs. I’ve had problems with my sourdough sticking to the Benton and ruining all loft. These liners have solved the problem. I highly recommend them.
Love using these liners as liners for my baskets. When cold proofing sourdough they work just as well as a banneton. Making it more affordable to use these and line baskets. I would recommend it any home baker who has to cold proof. They’re also really reusable which is a plus!
I bought these specifically for my 80% hydration sourdough because my regular cloth liner was becoming a nightmare to clean - dough would glue itself into the fabric no matter how much flour I used. These non-woven liners solve that problem completely. The dough just slides right out, even when it's super wet and sticky. The spiral pattern transfers beautifully - actually crisper than I was getting with my floured cloth liner. No more losing half my dough to the fabric or spending 20 minutes scrubbing dried dough out of linen. The elastic edge works well. I have a 9-inch round banneton and a 10-inch oval, and the same liner fits both snugly. They claim it stretches to 19 inches diameter - I haven't tested that extreme, but there's definitely a lot of give. The texture is weird at first - it's like a thick paper towel or coffee filter material. Breathable enough that the dough doesn't get soggy, but disposable enough that I don't feel bad tossing one after a few uses. I've reused individual liners 3-4 times before they start looking ratty, then I just grab a fresh one from the bag.Downsides: They're not as eco-friendly as a washable cloth liner if that matters to you. And honestly, the 100-count bag is overkill for a home baker - I've been using these for two months and I'm only through maybe 15 of them. The zipper bag is nice for storage though. If you bake high-hydration breads regularly and you're tired of scrubbing bannetons, these are worth trying. Just know you're trading convenience for creating some waste.
Works great. Made it so much more convenient
Love these! Will never go back to the linen! Easy to use, they keep clean and nothing sticks! Worth the value, size and the quality is great, do not tear easily!
This are great, pretty large. Seems to be durable too. Great for my large orders when I run out of bannetons and have to use a different container.
