Very sturdy, heavy stainless steel. I freeze the meat (beef and chicken are what I have ground so far) and freeze the components per instructions and have zero issues. It works well with my 30 year old Kenmore stand mixer. Love this product.
Hand -washed the high-grade steel polished parts of this grinder and made my first fresh ground pork sausage and ground round tonight. I'm delighted with the quality of the grinder and the meat products were of perfect texture. Followed suggestions to slightly chill the cut up meat pieces in the freezer and both the pork and beef were ground easily and quickly by my Kitchen Aid mixer. Into the dishwasher with the few pieces and if they come out sparkling bright, I will know the cost was absolutely worth the value and quality this grinder provides.

I used it to grind chicken breasts for homemade nugget-style bites (shown in my photos), and the results were consistent. Being able to mix the ground meat directly in the same bowl with the KitchenAid paddle is a practical time-saver.The design has no hard-to-clean corners, making maintenance straightforward. A quick rinse is usually enough, and all parts are dishwasher-safe. The rounded edges improve safety during handling, and the attachment stores compactly. I’ve tried similar products from other brands, and this one clearly outperforms them.Considering the quality, the price is a bargain, and I’ve already recommended it to friends. Strongly recommended
This thing is built like a tank, completely not what I expected. I have only one complaint, the ends of the stuffing tubes are a little sharp I'm going to have to polish them up so that they don't potentially cut into the casings but other than that way more than I expected large throat to stuff bigger pieces of meat down than a plastic KitchenAid brands. Also, the tray area where you set the meat while feeding it down the tube, is at least twice as large as the plastic model. This thing is well worth the money. Weird thing is it comes with a Kibbe attachment. Who the hell makes Kibbe. It must be made in Turkey..

I bought this as an attachment for my kitchenaid mixer. The first time I used it I did a great job grinding beef and I'm looking forward to using this meat grinder attachment to grind chicken with it. I am very happy with the results of this time it ground beef. Because of the following aspects, I think this is a cost-effective attachment.Workmanship: the meat grinder attachment is well made, the stainless steel looks very beautiful, the die-casting process is heavy and sturdy, and it did not disappoint me. It feels like it will last a long, long time.Effect: the meat grinder attachment grinds meat at a good speed and produces a result that is very much the size I need. This attachment doesn't waste my beef and I love the design.Installation and cleaning: It is easy to install to the blender, install the meat grinder attachment body part first. Then install it to my kitchenaid mixer. It's also easy to clean when you're done, and the best part is that this meat grinder attachment is dishwasher safe! I'm looking forward to the more meat it can make for me.
This grinder is amazing. No more nasty grey/black buildup from the anodized aluminum parts inside the original Kitchenaid grinder which would ultimately come out into your meat grind. 100% dishwasher safe, again, no aluminum to worry about. The ONLY wish I have is to find a wooden push stick for it. The plastic one feels quite cheap.
