Very powerful and high quality at a very reasonable price
I use this to make smoothies. I have a glass mug that is just the right size to accommodate the blender.I usually make mine with frozen bananas, frozen strawberries and coconut milk. I used to use a regular counter top blender, two of them died so I thought I try an immersion blender. For my purposes this one is more than adequate for my needs. I like the fact that has so many speeds, I start it on a lower speed and crank it up as the frozen fruit starts getting ground up. I would prefer if the speed control was on the body of the blender versus on the top. To adjust the speed I need to use both hands, one to hold the blender and the other to adjust the speed control.This being my first immersion blender I assume that they all do this, what is “this”? Well as my smoothie is basically fully blended, if I get the blender too close to the bottom of the mug, it gets pulled to the bottom of the mug and sorta sticks to the mug. You can pull it up but you will notice the effort needed. Probably a mug without such a wide, flat bottom wouldn’t have that issue.Cleaning this is a breeze, far easier and quicker than cleaning your standard counter top blender. I highly recommend this product.

WOW!
This is the most powerful stick blender that I have ever owned. So far nothing stands in its way. This thing totally blends or puree's everything, in a short amount of time, with little effort. The speed slide and the power buttons function nicely. The power cord is only about 1 meter which could be a issue for some, other then that this blender has performed wonderfully. I have been feeding this thing tough fibrous items and it just liquefies everything with ease. Cleanup is a breeze!I will update, down the line, as I continue to use. Hopefully this blender will will last a long time. Btw, this blender is 1000 watts strong! This replaces a Cuisinart Stick blender that has lasted 12 years and is starting to howl which means bearings are worn. The Cuisinart is only 300 watts strong!

It works. Good Tool for those of US who're Toothless.
The Blender Attachment is "click-fashioned" onto the motor - and it runs the SAME DIRECTION as the UN-LATCHING. I had to manually HOLD them together during one of my wildly VIBRATING pan-fulls. My other Blenders have Retracting Pins to attach the Blender Attachment. It has been easier to use since that one. Being smooth metal, it cleans up rather quickly from near-boiling blended stews, and blends-in Oils nicely. MTR
