    Works for Vitamix A2500 !

    Got this replacement part after I reached out to Vitamix and they told me my warranty for the jug was expired, and they'd be happy to SELL me another for 178$ ...yeah no thanks! I looked around and finally found this one. I did have to ask my friend to 3D print the wrench to remove the bottom part. Just Google search, there's plenty of ppl who offer the pattern for this model. Once you get that part you can easily remove the old blade, replace with this new one, screw it back together and voila! You just saved yourself a car payment.

    It fits loosely vs the original part. Fails after a month

    Because this part fits loosely as you can see in the video, it’s a matter of time before it fails.On one hand, the beating rusted and eventually locked the whole assembly and the blender could not move it. Almost broke my blender.On the other, the loose fit makes it leak ever so slightly which is not desired.Failed within a month… don’t waste your money

    Blade Smaller than OEM

    I like the price for value of the product. And it fits very well specially the threads. After staff used for entire day the performance was good. Only down fall is the actual blade is half an inch shorter. Also the blade is thicker which the end is not has shape. Overall fits and works but might not get some of the smaller ice cubes on the aside wall if you don’t have enough stuff to blend.
