Awesome for meal prep

We’re trying to cut down on processed foods but the convenience of being able to take something out of the freezer and stick it in the microwave is hard to let go of. So I’ve been trying to make homemade meals and then freezing them so we can stick that in the microwave instead. These containers are a great size for various meals, especially anything that needs a deeper bowl. They stack neatly making organizing the freezer simple. I use a white chalk marker, the kind that comes with the black chalkboard type labels, and write on the side and top of the container so we can quickly see what’s inside. They do fine in the microwave and dishwasher on the top rack. If I think far enough ahead I’ll stick one in the refrigerator in the morning and it’s usually thawed by dinner. If I don’t, we just use the defrost button on the microwave. These will crack and break if you drop them when they’re frozen. That’s no fault of the container, it’s just because frozen things become brittle. But a warning, because I do that on a semi regular basis. These are great for leftovers as well and my husband’s taken lunch to work in them. They do hold pretty large portions, so if you’re looking for portion control this isn’t it. But I do like the depth because I can fit a chicken breast or a piece of lasagna, a baked potato, etc, without smashing it or having to cut it up. These are very convenient and work well for us. I’d definitely purchase more.

Great for meal prep

Got these Evmliy 10Pack 28oz Meal Prep Containers to get my week a little more organized. Overall, they’ve been pretty handy. The 28-ounce size is generous enough for full meals, and I like that it’s a single compartment, no forced portion control or awkward food separation unless you want it. They stack nicely in the fridge too, which makes everything look way more put together than it actually is.The containers themselves feel sturdy for disposable style storage. I’ve used them for leftovers, lunches, and even tossed a few in the freezer without any issues. They hold up well in the microwave and dishwasher, which is a big plus because I am absolutely not hand-washing food containers if I can avoid it. Sturdy Containers Great for Meal Prep or Leftovers

These are good quality and great for doing meal Preps. Also great as a container to freeze portions of leftovers for future snacks or dinners. Not terribly large so would consider single serving sized. I did wash the bottoms in the top rack of the dishwasher and all survived without warping or cracking. Although they are leak proof I would not put soup in them unless you were keeping it level to freeze a portion. I would not want to have this in my cooler with soup in it and have it tip over on the side because I fear it would definitely have some seeping of liquid. For anything other than soup these are great. In fact, I just used some today to send my father home with leftovers from our Sunday meal!
