the only reason i am giving these 4 stars and not 5 is because one of them had a lip around the top instead of being circular. I am not returning because the other 5 are fine, I just can't next the one with the lip anywhere except on top of the pile.

LOVE These & Use Them All The Time
I liked the look of these little glass bowls, but didn't think I really needed them because I have so many other little bowls, but I am so glad I ordered these. They are the perfect size for small prep and I also use them for creamy cat treats. They have a decent weight so they don't slide around too much. They stack beautifully. I use them much more than I thought I would. I love all my old, odd-sized melamine cups, but I gave them away after getting these.

Great Little Prep Bowls for Cooking and Baking
I ordered these small prep bowls on a whim after watching one too many cooking shows and noticing how all the chefs have their seasonings and ingredients neatly portioned out. Now I feel like a mini chef myself. They arrived extremely well packaged. The set was nestled in Styrofoam inside a box, and even though the box was mailed in an envelope, not a single bowl was chipped or cracked. That alone impressed me.These bowls are perfect for dipping sauces, holding spices, or pre-measuring ingredients for baking. They stack neatly, which makes them easy to store, and the glass is clear and smooth. They are dishwasher safe and microwave safe. The description also notes that they are freezer safe. I personally cannot imagine ever freezing anything in them since there are no lids, but it is a listed feature so I wanted to mention it. For everyday prep work, these are exactly what I needed.The price works out to about one dollar per bowl. If I saw a single bowl for a dollar in a store, I probably would not buy them one by one, but as a set of ten for ten dollars, it feels reasonable. They do the job well, they look clean and simple, and they arrived in perfect condition. I am giving them five stars.
