Game changer

This is exactly what I needed. Before, I had to place my bamboo steamer in a shallow pan and use minimal water. The water would quickly evaporate & I had to add more water and thus slowed down the steaming process. It’s so much easier to use the ring, as I can place it over a larger pot with more water for my steamer. The water doesn’t evaporate as quickly as I have sufficient water to steam. It fits perfectly for my 8 inch bamboo steamer.

Great additional kitchen tool, if you like to steam your food.

I finally had to give up my 25 years old bamboo steamer ( they were falling apart). This new steamer basket’s size worked out well for my needs. The metal reinforcement looks well put together is the reasonI bought it, hopefully this will extend the life of the steamer. The only drawback is the metal gets very hot, make sure you use an oven glove.
