Warps when heating up, steam leaks out as a result.

Item is cheaper than others for a reason. The metal is super sensitive to heat and tends to warp when heating up over a pan of water. I'd have to place both racks of my bamboo steamer with food inside to get it to stay flat and level.Apart from being unstable, steam also leaks out the open gaps when its warped. It's a good size and it does work but do note the trade-offs beforehand.
