This is a Perfect Kombucha Starter Kit!
Kombucha Tea was always in my pantry, tucked into a nice draft-free dark corner, fermenting away, while I had some that had completed it's fermenting, chilling in the fridge, so I could take my 4 to 6 oz per day. There is nothing like fermented foods and drinks for your health and longevity. That's why, when I saw this Kombucha fermenter kit, I had to grab it! These jars are a much better size than what I used to use, so these will be easier to pour from, when ready for chilling or storing your finished product. Everything in this kit is perfect, and the price is comparable to others I see listed, and others scare me with the metal spigots and filters.... NO METAL of any kind can be within the fermentation process! All you need with this kit, is your scoby, tea, and sugar to feed the scoby, and you're set!Do be sure though, when you make your tea and sugar mixture, you heat it up in a stainless steel pot. Anything else, and you will add metal impurities into your planned Kombucha and it will fail, or worse... Also, the reason the strainer is not metal, and you use a wooden spoon to stir, is because your scoby (the mother you will begin with, and the babies you produce) cannot come into contact with any kind of metal while the Kombucha mixture is fermenting. Beware of kits that have metal spigots, or any metal that will touch the Kombucha liquid while fermenting. STICK WITH THIS KIT
