Why so lazy Susan?
This should be screwed into place to secure the item you want to spin both top and base. It could possibly be used without securing the top and bottom for lightweight non tippy items.

I bought this item and I was happy with it. When looking, I found only a few that you could screw to both surfaces. I am using it to mount a 55 inch TV on a stand. So far I’m very pleased with it and it seems very stable.
Did not work long
I made countertop. Lazy Susan’s . Very happy with purchase.
Using this 12" lazy susan for woodworking. Mounted plywood to it so I can stain or work on a piece without having to pick it up.
Barely spun with a lot of weight or minor weight. I returned.
