Good heavy bowl with one flaw. Otherwise beautiful.
Beautiful wooden bowl. The color is a pleasant medium brown for a good balance. It is made of multiple wood pieces instead a single piece, but would only be noticeable on a close inspection. The bowl is of considerable thickness and has a nice heavy feel. Overall size is amendable to both a center serving piece or decorative ensemble.The only flaw is the feet. It seems they went through great trouble to piece matched wood, with care in turning a solid piece with good staining and polishing, only to rush the feet. As seen in the picture, the glue was not cleaned from the piece and the metal banding looks thin and uneven.

Pretty, but Underwhelming
Received this pretty “11.8 inch Acacia wood bowl with three Brass legs” quickly.It has a very solid feel, is a heavier weight, is stable on its 3 feet, and sits flush to the counter. I really like the elevated look.There is also lot of nice graining.I really appreciate Acacia wood for the way light touches it, to create a beautiful glow and glisten to the wood. The bowl I received is not that, unfortunately.It was tucked into 2 cardboard boxes and wrapped in a couple of thinner foam sheets, but the finish has a couple scratches - for a brand new bowl. Not a big deal and not obvious.The inside pieces at seams are not smooth, with some gapping.Also, mine has an obvious, large drip mark running down the inside of the bowl (the wood is treated), so question quality control and I worry about the durability of the wood/ treatment. See pics.The feet are NOT actually brass but instead are wood, wrapped on the outside lower part of the wood leg with the metal. However it does not cover the underside of the foot peg, so the bottom of the foot is exposed wood.I specifically liked the idea of “brass feet” to keep the wood part of the bowl off wet surfaces. So, for me, this kind of defeats the purpose.When looking at the pictures and reading the description “with three Brass legs”, I did expect - and want - the bottom of the feet to be brass, not wood. If this would bother you, maybe try something else.It’s a pretty nice bowl, but did not meet my expectations, hence the 3 stars.

Heavy, stylish and functional
This bowl is huge and quite substantial in feel and weight. You could easily fit a dozen oranges and have room to spare. The brass feet elevate the look and it looks good sitting out in any room. I like that the brass feet do not extend across the very bottom of the feet so it doesn't scratch the furniture. The one I receive has good color variation and graining - if you want a very uniform look to the wood this may not be for you. A quality decorative and functional bowl with big visual impact makes this a great value.

ACACIA WOOD BOWL WITH 3 BRASS LEGS
This bowl is gorgeous, it’s made out of acacia wood. It is 11.8 inch, it is 4.4 Quarts. And has 3 brass legs. I have washed it all over with a soapy dish cloth then rinsed it off. I do not want to submered it in water , I’m not sure if it is suppose to. After it drys It is still shiny.This bowl is big and will have many uses.I recommend this bowl to every one
