This is a good quality pan. Use it every day.
No it didn't
this is a very large and heavy pan, it is well made. The handle stays COOL which I like. For me it is heavy enough to need a handle piece on the other side to help with LIFTING. I used butter and cooked some eggs- had to let it soak overnight- then had to scrub to get it clean. Picture is after use and cleaning.
Super quality but quite heavy.
This is a really nice stainless steel skillet. It's heavy sided, so it retains heat well, and the handle feels really sturdy. It works well with my induction cooktop. There's still somewhat of a hotspot, but that's more on the cooktop than the skillet.Stuff will stick to it, just like all stainless steel pans, but with the proper temperatures and oil I had no issues cooking effectively with it with minimal sticking.
The first two things I noticed about this pan were the weight - heavy, and how attractive it is. I decided to make beef stroganoff its first challenge. This pan heated evenly and quickly. The meat I browned did not stick at all and was quite tender (picture 1). Sautéing the onions and mushrooms was quick and easy. No sticking or burning and the juices moved around the pan easily (pictures 2 and 3). Dinner was delicious and the pan cleaned easily with soap, water and a sponge.I was quite happy to find I can hold the handle as far down as where it starts to bend to attach to the pan without feeling any warmth. The next morning, I noticed some stains in the pan. A simple baking soda paste took out the discoloration and I had a shiny pan again (picture 4). Only downside, I did end up with a few small scratches on one side of the bottom. May be from the grate over the gas burner I used. Can definitely be polished out if they bother me too much. The is on the higher side price wise, but definitely worth it as an investment pan for someone who likes to cook or someone who just wants to hang a beautiful pan in the kitchen.
