I thought that I had already written a review on this but just in case I didn't, I am writing it again. We have had it for about a month. We obviously eat quite a few bananas and my past fruit bowl wasn't quite large enough to hold a couple of bunches. This one is plenty big enough. It is so cute and clever. A little too expensive in my opinion but we really love it.

Seriously way better quality than I was expecting. It's got a nice feel to it, a nice weight to it, and it looks really nice. Everyone who's seen it loves it. It's been such a fun addition to our kitchen decor.

This thing is bananas! No really. It's made of bananas, and I love it. It looks exactly like you would hope and expect in person, if not even better. The color is so vivid. It is truly unreal - the quality shines through as you hold it and reflect on the fact it was hand painted. The center has an engraved logo of the brand name, the bottom has a felt center to keep it in place.The bowl is large enough to be functional as a fruit bowl or to hold other items you might want to display instead. The measurements are 11.8 x 11.8 x 3.9, truly large enough to hold the contents you see in the product photos. It is made of high quality resin and is heavy. It is truly a work of art that I cannot decide where to display as it could blend in anywhere. It would also make an amazing gift for a loved one who likes eclectic pieces.I spent quite a bit of time deciding if I wanted to order this bowl for $65. Ultimately I decided the value was there due to the size, quality, and uniqueness of the bowl. This is a long lasting piece that is worth every penny the tax man takes from me. It has now been discounted, so I definitely endorse the value of the product at the current available price. If you are questioning if this is a $50 fruit bowl, yes, it definitely is.
This bright yellow bowl is comprised of a circle of bananas. The bananas look realistic. It’s such a fun and unique bowl. It totally fits my eclectic style.The bowl is well made. It’s some sort of plastic, but it does not feel cheap. It has some weight to it.The bowl is large enough to accommodate a good amount of fruit. In my photo you can see a water bottle can lay flat inside the bowl.I love how realistic the banana bowl looks. At the bottom of the bowl you see the stems of the bananas and the small bits of empty spaces between them (this cannot hold liquids).The bottom of the bowl, where it makes surface contact, is covered in protective felt.I did notice some wayward paint splashes on one of the bananas. It definitely seems to be done in error, as none of the other bananas have spots.The ends of the bananas are all painted brown, which furthers their realistic appearance.I wish I had this bowl in green too.The bottom of the bowl has the companies name stamped on it. I wish that was not so visible, as it detracts from its high end feel.This is such a unique piece. If you are creative or artistic you may want to give this bowl a try. It could make a fun gift for the right person too.
