sharp and sturdy
If you're looking for a good sturdy sharp knife for cutting sourdough bread this is the perfect knife! I bought a 12inch knife to use with a sourdough bread slicer [I like my bread uniformly cut] I wish I had bought the 14inch knife because sourdough bread can be 10 or 11 inches round and the longer knife would be better a better fit to use in the bread slicer. All that said I like the knife; it is good sturdy and sharp not flimsy and dull like other knives.

NSF Certified budget kitchen knives!
I recently picked up the Humbee brand 14-inch serrated bread knife, and I have to say, it’s pretty impressive. I love that no matter what kind of bread I’m trying to slice—whether it’s a crusty sourdough or a fluffy loaf—this blade size really does the job. It feels like I have more than enough length to handle any loaf, maybe even more than the average person would need. However, I did have a hiccup when it first arrived. The blade was bent and warped, which was a bit disheartening. Luckily, I was able to carefully straighten it out, but I wish that hadn’t been an issue from the start. Overall, though, once I got past that, it’s been a solid addition to my kitchen. If you’re looking for a reliable bread knife, this one is worth considering!🌟 1 Star: I do not recommend this product at all, it has serious flaws and needs to be refined before I can recommend purchasing it🌟🌟 2 Stars: This product may have some major flaws, but there is still some good things about it. (I.E. Price)🌟🌟🌟 3 Stars: This product only has minor flaws or bad instructions, and I can still recommend buying it in most conditions.🌟🌟🌟🌟 4 Stars: This product has very few flaws and I recommend purchasing it.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 Stars: Exceptional product, minimal or no flaws.

Works as intended, not a special bread knife but premium
This 10-inch serrated bread knife from the DT-30 Series is a functional tool for the kitchen. With its premium high carbon stainless steel blade and ergonomic handle, it performs its primary task effectively. This product definitely works as a bread knife for cutting real bread. It handles loaves well, and the serrated edge provides the necessary grip to slice through crusts without crushing the softer interior, which is exactly what you expect from a dedicated bread knife. However, while it is functional, it's also not a special bread knife. The main point of consideration is its value proposition. I feel that I can easily find one for around half the price, although I acknowledge it might be of slightly lower quality. For a basic kitchen tool, the performance difference might not justify the significant price gap for every consumer. So, while this NSF certified knife does its job reliably, its position in the market feels a bit premium for what it offers, especially when more budget-friendly and still functional alternatives are readily available.

Finally, I knife for slicing jigs
For the past few years I’ve been making homemade bread with wholesome ingredients and stopped buying flavorless factory made bread filled with stuff I don’t want going in my body. As such, I’ve purchased a couple of different bread slicing jigs which work nicely but they tend to be a bit too wide for standard 10 inch bread knives to work all that well with them. Extreme care had to be taken when slicing bread to prevent the tip of the knife from slipping past the guide slots, which could result in snapping off one of the slats if not careful on a forward stroke. This knife at 14 inches, is plenty long enough to get a decent cutting stroke across a loaf of bread without worrying that the knife will slip past the slot of the slicing jig. The blade is plenty sharp and doesn’t pull a lot of crumbs out of the bread the way some knives do. The blade also has some meat in it, so not made out of an old band saw blade like a knife that came with one of the jigs I bought. The quality makes this knife a bargain at $33.

Great for sourdough!
Ordered the 12" because the knives we have are too short for the sourdough we make. When it first arrived, it seemed huge (see photo for comparison with a pair of scissors), but when compared to our sourdough loaf, it was just the right size. We'd debated about getting the 10" but are glad we opted for this one instead. The handle feels nice in the hand, although larger hands will probably find it slightly less comfortable than smaller hands. There's a slight sponginess / softness to the rubberized handle. The blade is impressive and cuts very well. I'm happy about the full tang and the stainless steel.Absolutely would order again... makes midnight snacking much easier! :)

Very Versatile
I initially got this for sling homemade sourdough bread, but I discovered it works well for slicing and cutting watermelons as well! It's a little longer than I expected, but I changed drawers to store it in, and all is well.It would be nice if it came with some sort of sheath to protect against sharp edges.

Great budget serrated knife for bread
At this point in my middle-aged cooking life, I've resigned myself to not bothering with high end knives for certain types of cutting, and instead use budget knives replaced every year or three instead of trying to sharpen them. Those types of cutting are specifically cleavers and bread (serrated) knives. How fast they wear depends a lot on how much you use them -- I use my chef's knife a LOT more than both the cleaver and bread knife combined, so it makes sense to get a great blade there and get it properly sharpened. Most sharpeners won't work for serrated knives, and the ones who claim they do are usually terrible or crazy expensive. So stick with budget serrated knives. This one fits the bill very well. Just make sure that if you use a knife block, measure it because the 12" and 14" are longer than most consumer knife blocks. The grip is nice, balance is good.
