Small but very useful!
At the heart of it, these are a basic stainless steel bowl with a rolled edge. Easy to clean, don't rust, etc. But that isn't the headline here. The main thing to note about these bowls is that they are really tiny -- on 3.5" (9cm) across and a bit more than an inch high (3cm). It doesn't really register how small these are until you see them in real life. But don't make the mistake of thinking that just because they are small that they are not useful! Quite the contrary, their small size makes them very useful. In more ways that you might imagine. They are perfect if you need to separate an egg. Or if you want to mix some spices together before adding them to a sauce. They're great for a melting a little bit of butter. Or if you are brushing on a coating (say a bit of egg) onto a loaf of bread that you are about to bake. Outside of the kitchen they are great for holding the teeny LEGO bricks for your latest LEGO build. Just use your imagination and you'll find lots of uses for these. And because they are small, they don't take up much space in the dish washer.
