Lovely. This is just a lovely product and a perfect gift for someone who is new to the world of matcha tea. The product is just as described. It came in a nice box and everything in it was well wrapped. The box isn't something I will keep because even though it presents as nice, its just a cardboard box. All products seem well made and all the pieces to this product are as described by the product page on Amazon. All the products work to make a great cup of matcha tea. It really is a beautiful tea set meant to create a tea experience. I have used Green Foods matcha tea for years and it makes a great cup of matcha with this product. I love the Green Foods matcha tea as it is very smooth but I found by using the sifter that came with this matcha set to sift it, that this made for an even smoother cup of matcha much to my surprise. The only thing I would add regarding matcha tea is look up the brew time and temperature for the matcha you are making. I found that the matcha I use should not be heated over 165 degrees F otherwise, the hot water will burn the tender matcha. So, do look that up to make sure that you are not going to all the effort of using this product to make a great cup of tea only to ruin it by making your brew water too hot. I really like the presentation and quality of this product and glad I got it.

This is a very nice set. I love the colors and it feels like it is very good quality materials. The tea towel is a cute addition but it’s more like a napkin in size, very small. The bowl is a good size for making a matcha without it sloshing out over the sides. It’s a bit pricy for what it is - as you can get basically the same thing for half this price elsewhere, but if you want the cute matching set up it’s a great purchase. I’d say the biggest qualm is that the whisk feels pretty cheap and did have some crumbs of bamboo fall off it when I bumped it. But I think that is just because it’s new.

Nice set for a simple treat
I'm usually a little shy of buying complete kits or sets as they often have items I won't use and are of poor quality. I'm really pleased that I chose this set though. The box and set are nice enough for gifting, but the price is reasonable enough to buy for yourself. I plan to indulge in treats that encourage me to have some quiet moments just enjoying being. Taking the time to make myself matcha and drink from a favourite cup, will be a weekly treat going forward. The instructions are clear, and the bowl is right size for one or two small cups of tea. Setting the included mat on a tray to take the tea to a nice spot to sit and sip just sets the mood right. Note that the tin of matcha and the cup & saucer in the photo are mine - the set does not include these.
