Lovely. Deceptively small looking
I love this teapot. I have used it multiple times a day since it's arrival. We have an electric stove, I warm it up on medium high.I have used it for just water, I've used the infuser and made loose leaf inside.I'd give it 4 stars for the diffuser, but since every single teapot comes with the same head scratching design, I've decided to keep it at 5 ⭐️The spout works perfectly. Witg loose leaf inside, it actually helps keep most of it from pouring out. I still use a little tea mesh to catch any on the way out, though. The diffuser is what you'll find on any glass teapot. It has slits at the bottom for tea leaves to escape. It will keep most of the leaves in, but will also clog. I use a chopstick to give it a good stir every now and again. But I also like adding honey so pull the diffuser out for that.I learned that for myself, I prefer pouring loose leaf in the teapot and omitting the diffuser as the design is poor. That said, I liked that this diffuser goes almost to the bottom. Many teapots only go halfway down, which makes even less sense.Either way, personally, I believe these need to have laser holes all over, many many holes. A few slots on the bottom doesn't do much. But the design of the teapot itself is perfect. The spout is really pleasant to pour from. The handle does not get hot if you let it boil for a while. It works well on my electric stove and stays warm over a beeswax candle upstairs.Would not guess it holds 52oz.I drink a lot of tea. Which is why I wanted a pot with as little plastic, silicone and coating as possible. Stainless steel 18/10 or above, etc etc. This teapot is durable, classy and perfect. It's so simple to use and clean. At the end of the night, I toss it in my dishwasher and it's ready for a French press or more tea by morning!I highly recommend this teapot
