Large pie carriers worked well

My 10" glass pie pans with handles (making them over 11" wide) fit in these nicely for Thanksgiving. I didn't need the flat circular inserts, but they will come in handy for double-stacking pizza or other items flatter than pie pans. The fold-up carrying handles on the lids worked well and the lids stayed attached even with a pie inside. I'm happy with this purchase.

The containers are a good size, the lids fit and even come with fold-down handles.Unfortunately, from my admittedly picky perspective, achieving an air-tight seal is neither easy nor completely reliable. This may not be a problem for anyone else, however.

Fits deep-dish Pyrex pie plates with the handles

Yes, I feel these are expensive for the quality of the materials, but they fill a specific niche, and I have been searching a long time for a pie container with these specifications. These containers fit a Pyrex deep-dish pie plate with handles (at least the old style ones - I don't know if Pyrex has changed in the last two decades) and are deep enough to accommodate moderate pie toppings. A high merangue might stretch its limits, though.These work so well for me that I bought another set right away. I bake a lot of pies and often need to transport them while keeping them cool until serving. This is a challenge in the summer months. I've found that these stacked with a couple of ice packs in an insulated Instant Pot or slow cooker carrying bag do the trick beautifully. I have a bag that is made for an 8-quart Instant Pot, and I can stack 3 containers in the main section, with a 4th in the top compartment. I'd provide a link but that specific bag is no longer available. There seem to be plenty of others on the market, though.All in all, these containers are exactly what I needed and I am happy to have found them.

One of my favorite kitchen items

I tend to make deep dish pies and cookies for holidays and birthdays for my family. I searched long and hard for a deep dish pie carrier and managed to score a cookie carrier at the same time. I was hesitant to buy it because it looks like it doesn’t seal as much as just lay on the top of the holder. Luckily I was wrong and it seals well. Additionally it has a tier that can be inserted midway down to either use for shallower pies or to keep cookies separated which makes it perfect for me. I am ordering another set because I guarantee my first set will wander off with my sons and their birthday pies.
