The large pan, but Quality built. I use it for my larger meals. However, the lid is not tinted as the picture shows but clear. Still, it’s very satisfactory. I especially like the ease of cleaning and the value for the money.
I waited to review after seasoning the wok and cooking with it several times. This wok rocks! The included metal spatula and lid makes cooking various foods easy. I normally would use my Blackstone for chicken, stir-fry, vegetables, and eggs, but this walk does it all. I cooked honey, lemon garlic salmon, which turned out perfect. I was skeptical because it initially stuck to the metal, but after waiting, it easily came off. I definitely recommend this product.
This is a great wok. It is seasoning easily.
I carefully followed the seasoning instructions before first use: applied a layer of oil and heated on low for 3 minutes, then let it sit overnight as directed. However, when I cooked eggs and fried rice the next day, food immediately stuck and charred onto the wok surface, leaving dark burnt residue that became firmly bonded to the metal.After cooking, I attempted to clean the wok but the carbonized food wouldn't come off with normal scrubbing. Even with vigorous cleaning, stubborn charred residue remains stuck to the surface. The wok now has visible scratch marks from my cleaning attempts, and it appears the only way to remove the burnt-on food would be to use steel wool or heavy abrasive pads, which would likely damage the seasoning further.I'm unsure if the initial seasoning instructions were insufficient, if the wok's surface finish was poor, or if there's a manufacturing defect. A properly seasoned carbon steel wok shouldn't have food welding itself to the surface on the very first use. The buildup is now difficult to remove and affects the wok's performance.I expected better results from a carbon steel wok. Would not recommend based on my experience.Update: I added three stars to my previous one-star review for the seller's support team. They made great effort in standing up for their product. They sent me instructions and details on how to clean, re-season, and use proper technique to avoid food from sticking to the wok.
Only issue is it’s actually too big. But nicely built. Still in early life of seasoning so I am confident it will continue to get better over time
I tried the wok once and I have to say that it looks very fancy, well manufactured, and good quality. Everything seemed great until I used the metal spatula that is included. After this first cooking, the wok ended up scratched so it is not accurate to say, as it is presented in the video, that the wok is "metal utensil safe". I tried the oil coating as suggested in the instructions, and am afraid of using the wok a second time because I am planning to return it.
