This replacement pot is infinitely better than the original one provided, fits just as well as the original pot. It doesn’t spill when pouring, washes great in dishwasher and doesn’t collect any water like the original one did. Great price point too!
The design of this replacement carafe was very well thought out. It fits perfectly with my Ninja Duel Brew Pro CFP300.I really like the wider opening. I hand wash our carafe, so having the wider opening makes cleaning this one easier. I don't feel like I'm going to get my hand stuck or break the carafe. Having a solid glass piece also makes it easier to clean, as there's no plastic lip on the inside. The spout is more angled, so it narrows the pour making it less likely to over pour and spill coffee from the sides of the spout.The handle is tapered and fits my hand a lot better and makes it easier to pour from a full pot. I also like the thumb indention at the top of the handle. It makes my grip a feel little more solid. Having more plastic down the back of the carafe also makes it more durable.The pop in lid is a little wonky, but it's better than the screw-in type. My old one doesn't click anymore when I close it, which makes me feel like it isn't closed all the way. I wish the pop in lid had something a little more to grip when removing it, but it works OK.This carafe holds temperature as well as the original. The bottom circumference is slightly smaller, but it heats and maintains heat as well as the original.Overall, I'm very happy with this carafe replacement and it's a very good value.
PROBLEM: I absolutely love our Ninja DualBrew Pro....but I loathe the carafe that came in the box with it. It's mostly glass but it has a wide plastic pour spout so it spills when I try to pour it into a cup with a smaller opening, like a travel mug/tumbler. There are many mornings that I've burned my hand pouring the coffee too fast into a too-narrow mug. The plastic on top of the carafe also has a thick edge inside that makes it impossible to pour every last drop of liquid out. I would rock it back and forth upside-down trying to get it all out but there was always half a tablespoon of coffee sloshing back into the carafe (or water if I was cleaning it).Solution: this upgraded replacement is amazing!!! I know I'm being dramatic, but this small change has really improved my early mornings; a time of day when I'm half-asleep and easily frustrated. This new carafe is entirely glass on the inside. There are no plastic edges inside for liquid to hide in. It comes with a plastic, removable lid and there is an outer protective plastic casing that includes the handle of the carafe for safety. No more shaking it upside-down over the sink when trying to clean it! The pour spout is the perfect width for normal mugs and travel mugs alike. No more spills when I'm rushing out the door.The ONLY thing I could suggest to improve this: the gasket that secures the lid to the carafe is just a simple clear elastic band. The nice thing about it is that it's easy to remove and clean, but it would also be nice if it was upgraded to a nicer rubber gasket.
I have been wanting a backup pot for my Ninja especially since it boils hot water for tea.This one fits perfectly. Works great. It looks smaller/narrower but I measured water in both pots and they hold the same amount.The only thing I don’t like is that the rim is glass instead of being protected like my original one with a plastic rim. this one looks better but I’m a klutz and I'm afraid i will chip or break it.It does however form a better seal with the brewing lid. There is a gasket that fits tighter than the original and works better. This one also wins the style points. It looks sleeker.I love it. Oh and it also comes with another scoop! (My model came with one but I love a backup.)Picture shows new pot on the left and original one on the right.
This is tough - I want to give more stars because I love the coffee pot itself, it's the lid that I'm taking stars off for. I got this to replace our old carafe which always got dishwasher water (and food bits) stuck underneath the black plastic surrounding the glass - but this one doesn't have that issue! Yay! A nice little touch is the thumb imprint on the handle, and I do love the wide opening in case you want to hand wash it. It looks fancy and holds more coffee than my old 10 cup carafe.Now the bad part. The lid came with an uneven adhesive strip I'm assuming so that the lid wouldn't fall out when you pour your coffee. But the issue with this is that they didn't stop the strip where the coffee pours out, so your hot coffee is running over this adhesive strip which I'm not a fan of. Additionally, when you go to take the lid out, because it has high suction from the adhesive, it gets stuck and it's a bit hard to remove. I noticed this morning when I took it out of the dishwasher that the adhesive strip broke off. I'm okay with this considering I didn't like it in the first place, but now I have to be careful that the lid won't fall off when I pour my coffee. Also, the bottom of the spout connected to the lid looks chipped and uneven (this was like this when I first received it). I was worried some plastic would continue to fall off into our coffee, but so far it seems okay.So overall, I wish they had a different way to secure the lid, like a twist on similar to my old carafe. That being said, if they had a different lid I would give this an easy 5 stars because of the carafe alone.
