That’s are nice and thick. Good quality. Be aware before you purchase that the spoons themselves are not as deep as I would have liked. Rather shallow, but I am keeping them.
These spoons were great for Thanksgiving. They are not fancy but they are way more robust than I expected. They are a good quality and will last for years to come. Great purchase!
I like these serving spoons. They are not the kind that you would usually use at a table to serve your vegies, but I’ve used one to serve salad from a large bowl. My granddaughter saw these and said, “You have GOLD spoons?!!!” I agreed that we did, though I didn’t tell here that they aren’t made of real gold. She was impressed!The spoons are strong. Whatever you pick up with them is not going to bend the spoon. I appreciate that because so much stainless ware that I’ve gotten for the kitchen is so thin that it bends at the slightest pressure. You don’t have to worry about that with these. I like that they have a hole in the handle so that you can hang them up. That’s keeps them at hand while not using up precious drawer space.I don’t know how often you will use them at your dinner table (they are quite large – think of the spoons at a buffet), but you will certainly find them of good use at a picnic or covered dish buffet. They look nice and fit well in your hand.I recommend these to you for the above uses.
These are quite large and heavy, very stiff, and have a nice shine to them. Overall impression is of very high quality serving pieces.For a size comparison, the attached photo includes a "standard" sized serving spoon and a regular sized tablespoon - as you can see, these make regular serving pieces seem small by comparison.At a little over $4 per spoon, these are a very good value for the quality shown. That said, 1/2 a dozen may be a bit much for most people - I would imagine selling them in packages of 2 or 3 would be useful to many and provide better value.I like to cook, and we often have guests over where we will serves stews and braises in a cast iron dutch oven "family style" on the table. These spoons will come in very useful for serving meals family style.
I am impressed with these spoons. They are the perfect size for so many different foods. They are thin enough to feel good in your hand, but very sturdy enough to scoop just about anything. The unibody construction is really nice, any time I have broken a serving spoon, it broke at the handle, with these that is never going to be an issue. They are built to last. They have really high shine that has stayed true after several washings, with no tarnishing. They are super easy to clean, I washed 3 of them in the dishwasher and 3 by hand , 6 times each, all 6 still look brand new. Great for home, restaurants, weddings, parties, or catering events. An excellent set for the price.
I love these long serving spoons. They are stainless steel and made well. As I frequently host events at my house, these work very well with everything that I'm serving. Even for the chaffing dish. I'll just leave these spoons resting on a spoon rest and my guest will use them to serve themselves. Just like what you'll see at a buffet. They are long enough that it will not fall into a bowl or platter. Plus, you get 6 of them. Just awesome.
