Review of 13 Inch Pizza Cutter Rocker Blade, Sharp Pizza Rocker Knife 420J1 Japanese Stainless Steel, Dishwasher Safe Pizza Cutter Slicer with Protective Cover, Multipurpose for Pizza, Cheese, CakeI ordered this because I grew so tired of the typical round-bladed pizza cutters that never seem to cut very well. I looked at several cutters here on Amazon and read a lot of reviews. I settled on this one. I like the handles the way they are set out to the side. This makes for easier handling and control in my opinion. It makes for a more awkward fit in a drawer, but I am finding that I can make pizza cuts much easier and more evenly. I don’t really care about even cuts that much, but this makes even cuts a breeze. The blade is ultra sharp. It comes with a cover, but the cover is a little difficult to finagle the blade back into the cover/sheath. It is surprisingly heavy. The ad says it’s dishwasher safe, but I think that I will continue to handwash this. It touts a 13” cutting length, so that is big enough for most pizzas that I ever buy. I highly recommend using a cutting board if whatever you baked your pizza on is susceptible to a sharp blade. It can be used to cut many other foods too. It cuts more cleanly than a circular bladed cutter. This cutter is easy to clean by handwashing. Longevity remains to be seen. The one thing I did NOT like about this product: it brags about Japanese stainless steel, but this thing is made in, you guessed it, China (pictured)! I deducted 1 star for this as it seems misleading.
