Great replacement carafe, with clever redesigned pouring lip to prevent leaks

I marked it 4 stars because I ordered a 14-cup replacement carafe and I received a 12-cup carafe instead. The manufacturer sticker on the box even says it’s 14 cups, but the carafe itself can only hold 12 cups.Besides that, I really like how the carafe is well protected for shipping.I also really like the lid and lip design for this replacement carafe. In particular, the permanent inside lip in the carafe is better than Cuisinart’s simple design on their OEM carafe lid, which eventually leads to coffee leaks as you pour.The design on this carafe doesn’t seem like it would have that problem.Besides this being a 12-cup instead of 14-cups carafe as advertised, I really like everything else about it. I’m going to keep this carafe because my Cuisinart coffee maker takes both 12-cup or 14-cup carafes.

Works as expected for coffee

Our two year old has been trying to act like daddy in the kitchen and broke our old coffee pot. The Syuebrew Replacement Carafe works exactly like the old one and fit inside our Cuisinart Coffee Maker. We have put this thing to the test by putting it into the dishwasher, into the fridge, and of course making lots of coffee and it has fared well. Others have mentioned there’s a blue band on the bottom lip, but this is a sticker cover to prevent scratching on shipment. Make sure to take off the blue band when you’re ready to use it. The price is in line with other coffee pot replacements I have found on Amazon.

This is a perfectly serviceable replacement carafe that gets the job done without pretending to be something it’s not. The glass and handle feel lighter and less refined than the OEM version, and the fit and finish aren’t quite as tight, but it pours cleanly, fits the listed Cuisinart models correctly, and holds heat about as well as you’d reasonably expect. At roughly $20, it’s hard to complain when the official replacement costs three times as much, and unless you’re particularly picky or hard on your coffee gear, this is a sensible, cost-effective solution.

Works as well as the OEM carafe...

For some reason we tend to break a coffee carafe every 6-9 months by knocking it into a kitchen counter or the sink when cleaning it. Anyway, we needed a replacement for our Cuisinart DCC-3200 coffee maker, and this replacement carafe fits perfectly. It is marked for the number of cups on each side for easy measuring. It fits into our machine with no issues and performs as expected. The lids for these carafes tend to leak when filling the water tank or pouring the first cup of coffee, but I’ve found a light tap on the top of the lid with the palm of my hand helps to get a tighter fit. The handle is comfortable and provides easy handling. This carafe performs as well as the OEM carafe that came with the coffee maker.
