I was looking for a pizza peel for my gas fired pizza oven. My dough was sticking to my wooden peels, so I ordered this one to try. It was easy to assemble, and the front side has a nice non-stick coating. The perforations reduce the surface area that the dough can stick to. I found my dough still tended to stick to the peel, however, it was less sticky than using a wooden or steel peel--I think I just need to tweak my dough. I really like the size and length of the handle. My oven is not real big, so I don't need a long handle. Because I have an auto rotating base in my oven, I don't have to spin my pizzas, but the peel does an excellent job of sliding under the pizza for removal and is super easy to wipe clean.

Makes beautiful professional pizzas in my home oven.

I used to use thick wood peels and would build the pizza on the peel, this resulted in flour or cornmeal caked on the bottom of my pizza, and sometimes the pizza would stick or not come off completely.Now I build my pizza on the counter and it's easy to scoop the pizza on this peel without tearing it or loosing it's shape. If there's any flour underneath you can easily shake it off through the holes. A beautiful professional pizza results every time.
