It's fairly small, a bit over a foot long, and it took me possibly 5 minutes to install. It's nice and solid, holds a bunch of my utensils that either catch on the lip of the drawer or cause my utensil jar to tip over, and I was able to install it underneath a cabinet, in an absolute afterthought of a space, right next to the stove, just where I need them the most. The little sliding hooks are quite nice. I like that they can't come off and get lost by accident when the kids are playing pirate or space explorers. The only thing I didn't like was that it was difficult to guess where to drill the inner hole for the screws. Holding up the rack and marking the outer circles was easy, but the inner circles were harder. A paper template would have been really nice.
I have two other similar hanging racks that I spent a similar amount of money for, and not only did they come with silent moving hooks, but it was a lot easier to put them together (it was easy to mark out the holes where I needed to drill for example, while this one made it nearly impossible to do this). The one positive thing I can say is that they look nice, and go well with the other two, but I am not pleased with how unnecessarily difficult it was to put them together, especially since the other two I got were much easier. Also, no instructions were included. Not an issue for me, as I had put two others together, but that could be a problem for others. I cannot recommend them at the current price point (about $17 at time of review). If you see them and they're about $10, then that's about what they're worth.
This is a nice and strong stainless steel utensil hanging rack. The rings for each item slide easily along the rod. Being metal on metal though, it does make a bit of noise as it moves. It is 21" in length so measure your space to make sure it will fit before buying. It works very good for kitchen utensils especially. A very handy tool.
This organizer is being used in my fabric room - it is easy to install- and it is used to organize the hanging things I accumulate - the needles (specialized to be sure), the proportional tools, and the ribbons plus the elastic- an organization addict's dream-
