Beautiful and quite large!

This large turntable sits on top of the lazy Susan base and is held with a little suction cup. The top is very heavy and seems to sit on the base nicely due to the weight. It turns easily and matches well with my granite. This will come in handy while entertaining and can lift off for washing. This can also be used as a large charcuterie board which you can assemble, wrap and refrigerate, or simply pre-chill the stone before placing meat and cheese on it. I took off a star because there is a scratch right in the center of the stone.

Good once centered

I like the size and heft of this marble Lazy-Suzan and the base is solidly built. There is no centering pattern to align the base to so you put down the base and try to center the marvelous best which is a bit of a pain very easy to make the bearing platform adhere to a centered pattern on the underside of the platen. Once centered it very nice but the bearings might need a little WD-40 to glide better.

Comes in two pieces?!

The included Lazy Susan base isn't even attached to the top and there there no marks or screw holes to secure it in the center. That's RIDICULOUS! Worse, the rings of the base are the same height, so if you need to install it without the hard plastic feet (which slide all over a granite countertop), the undersized rings drag along both surfaces which can damage most table tops. This is a very poorly designed product and a very deceptive description.

Although the bearings and stone plate are sold as a set, they clearly aren’t designed to function together. The plate simply rests on top of the spinner with no way to secure it. While the plate itself look good, the metal bearings are of very poor quality—the rotation is rough and produces a grinding sound, and even after oiling them, the movement didn’t improve much.

Beautiful heavy-duty piece, but doesn't rotate the smoothest

This Lazy Susan is absolutely stunning! I used it in our bar area for our nicer bottles. The stone surface looks so high-end, and it’s very sturdy and well-made. It feels incredibly durable and has quite a bit of weight to it. However, the spinning mechanism is a bit stiff-it doesn’t rotate easily and requires some effort to get it moving. Once it does, the turns like it is grinding on something. I tried flipping it over but still had the same issue-the grips I will say are very strong though and the plate doesn't fall off. Overall, great quality and gorgeous design, but I wish the rotation was a little easier.
