This is a fantastic product. My husband even commented on how nice it looks! It is a very thick plastic, stayed cold for hours and I love that the lid is included. It was also so easy to wash.
This is a great serving tray to take to parties. Keeps things nice and cold. The compartments are a good size and hold plenty of food. The lid doesnt fasten tightly and it is a little heavy to transport. Overall, a very nice serving dish.
Loving this purchase and I plan to buy a second one! Used it for the typical, veggies and dip, but also used the base to serve pasta salad and used the lid as the ice holder. It worked great!Each time, I have used ice from the fridge ice maker and the platter has kept the food cold for all events. Also, when it comes time for cleanup, the bottom tray has still had ice in it even after a 9-hour (indoor) event.The lid may be a little challenging to lift for some, since it is the thicker plastic and sits snuggly on the tray.I had a different product, that was clear and had multiple insert options but it was thin plastic. That product had sharp edges and cut me while I was cleaning it. It also broke easily. The White Oaks Ranch 3-tier platter is thicker plastic and did not have sharp edges. I will recommend this to all of my friends and will purchase it for friends who enjoy entertaining.
It is a really beautiful veggie tray. Sections are large enough for even the biggest vegetables. I can't wait to use it.
