Great Bowl!

I needed a trifle bowl quickly and didn't have time to run all over town trying to find one. I always read many reviews, starting with the one-star and working my way up. I narrowed my search to the ones I could get in a day, and out of all of them, I chose this one, and I'm glad I did. It was one of those 7-11am deliveries and it was here at around 8:30. It was VERY well packed, in thick styrofoam, in a nice sturdy box, inside another Amazon box. When I got it all unpacked, I was really impressed by the bowl. It has thick, sturdy, glass...no chips or imperfections. The lid is very nice...no stains or imperfections. It was kind of hard to get off, it fits so well. I'm using this to make a trifle for New Year's Eve and I'm sure there will be plenty of room for all of the ingredients. It is a nine inch bowl, and almost six inches high. It would be perfect for salads, fruit bowls, pretty much anything where you want to show off the ingredients. It's a keeper!

Good size if you’re look for something big- not as thick.

The size on this is great for large portions / serving. The dish came with a weird, film-like, black stuff on the inside which kind of made me a little worried. The glass seems a little thin but on the other hand, for something this large, I think there is a fine line between sturdiness and weight. If it was as thick as some of the others, it would probably weigh 10 lbs.
