Adorable burlap jute tote bags, 13.8 x 5.5 x 10.5 inches.It’s a bit smaller than I would want for a “tote bag,” but it works when you need an extra, go-with-everything, non-descript, modern bag to get you from work to yoga, to the grocery store, and home. It’s almost perfect, with soft, cushioned handles and a water-resistant lining. The jute burlap isn’t scratchy and feels like a hewn linen. I used it for Library Books, and it managed the heft. Will look so cute embroidered!!
I'm excited about this burlap tote bag because it's about to become my next craft project! I plan to get it embroidered at a local embroidery shop with my daughter's initials and then attach a striped satin bow to the front handles to coordinate. This bag will hold up well, as it's made from sturdy jute material, and the inside is lined with a waxy lining, so it'd be great for carrying bathroom products in or meeting water resistant needs. (I wouldn't go so far as to say waterproof.) It does not have a reinforced bottom, but it still feels strong and durable, and like it will hold its square shape and not just flop and droop around whatever you put inside. The handles are padded and also feel durable. The stitching feels heavy duty. The perfect size tote bag to carry with you anywhere!
