I haven’t used it yet but it’s the perfect size for frozen drinks from the all inclusive resort that we go to every year. My old yeti wine tumbler was my go to for our beach vacation but it wouldn’t fit the whole frozen drink. I am looking forward to using this one and keeping cold drinks cold in the Caribbean. It has slits all the way around the lid so you can ditch the straw if you want to.
Vacuum-sealed stainless steel tumblers are great, and I favor the bigger ones, at least 64oz. I enjoy the fact that they can keep that much water icy cold for hours or even up to a day. I came across this 16oz cocktail tumbler and initially thought that the concept was a bit silly and overkill. However, the more I thought about it, the more I realized a margarita is a beverage that could probably benefit from this type of product. So, I ordered it to try it out.On the surface, it's like any other cup of this type: it keeps your cold drinks cold for hours. With its margarita-glass shape, the tumbler fits in standard cup holders. The rubber grip (light-green in my picture) isn't just a rubber band like so many after-market accessories but sits within a groove in order to stay in place, stay straight, and work really well. The lid is the type that you "press" in and takes some effort to remove because of the very effective seal around the inner rim. It will NOT come off easily by tipping or even shaking your drink. There's also a glass straw included, along with a rubber "bite" guard in case you like to chew your straws and not end up with a mouth of broken glass.As a test, I added crushed ice and poured in a freshly made margarita. With the lid on and the straw inserted, the drink was cold for the hour it took me to down it (which is typically longer than a margarita would last in my hands, but you know, science). After finishing and waiting another couple of hours, there was still ice in my cup. Not nearly as much as I started with, but enough for a second margarita without additional ice.You will not need an "all-day" margarita. It's going to be consumed relatively quickly. That said, though, a tumbler like this keeps it cold, even on hot days in the sun. Slowing down the melting of the ice means slowing down the dillution of the drink. The tumbler cleans up easily and has a range of attractive colors. I'm actually enjoying this much more than I expected. Five stars.
This margarita glass is made from the same stainless steel material as a Stanley or Yeti tumbler, which I think is hilarious and brilliant at the same time…the perfect combination of humor and quality! The design looks like a classic margarita glass, but it is vacuum insulated and keeps drinks cold for hours. I never take longer than a couple hours to finish my drink, but it stayed cold the entire time.It comes with a bent plastic straw that has a rubber tip matching the color you choose. I got pink, so it has a pink rubber grip around the cup and a pink tip on the straw. There is also a rubber grip on the bottom that prevents slipping and protects your table from scratches. The lid has a slight outward curve at the top that makes it perfect for a salt rim, and there are three different slits in the lid for sipping. You can sip from almost a full 360 degree circle around the lid, with just one spot reserved for the straw. It even has measurement markings on the stainless steel interior for 2, 5, and 16 ounces, which is great for mixing cocktails. The lid is easy to take on and off but seals nicely when you put it on. The whole thing is dishwasher safe and super easy to clean.This retails for about 25$, which is actually cheaper than a standard Stanley or Yeti tumbler and way more fun. I think this would make such a cute gift because it is a conversation starter and totally unique. If you take this to a party, I bet everyone is going to be asking where you got it. For the price, the quality, and the humor, I think it is absolutely worth it.
Double walled 16 ounce tumbler with straw and lid is the perfect addition to your bar, boat, RV, or vacay. Keeps cold drinks cold and frozen drinks frozen. The perfect size to fit in a cup holder and also keep drinks fresh without worrying about getting watered down and tossed out. The white cup is Snow White and with a clear lid and straw with white silicon tip. The quality is top notch and the value less than half the price you would expect to pay for such a high quality stainless steel tumbler. The grip around the middle is soft and provides a non slip way to hold and avoid slips and drops. Silicon bottom helps keeps cup upright and provides a coaster type protector on the base. Easy to use and functions like it should. Includes 2, 5, 16 ounce measurement lines inside. The lid is ventilated and does not provide a leak proof tumbler but will keep bugs and debris out with ease. The lid is not threaded and pushes in and pulls out easily. Overall, easy to clean! A great item!
This is great for a laugh on Zoom calls. That it keeps my coffee or tea warm for a while is a bonus.I've used it a couple weeks and I've found that the design is convenient with the little silicone grip and three-side drinking slits. For my daily coffee intake, I appreciate I can just tip the tumbler and I'll get some coffee. I don't use the straw so much, but that's a preference thing.Otherwise I find the tumbler durable and well made. I haven't seen any wear and tear after a dozen trips into a dishwasher with all my other cups and plates.If you're actually mixing a drink in it, it's got common measurements right on the inside for a quick margarita: lime and triple sec to taste up to 2oz, tequila til 5oz, add ice til 16oz. Give or take a bit depending on preference, of course (I am known to mix very harder than most).
