Great for fridge storage and pantry shelves.
Previously I’d never used glass jars with bamboo lids, mostly because I was concerned about moisture. I always thought bamboo lids might develop mold under the cap due to how porous they are. They just seemed very impractical to me.But these lids are designed differently. They have plastic on the inside, so they should be much more resistant to moisture. The bamboo itself doesn’t feel porous. It looks like it's coated with a clear layer of something like lacquer. The glass feels thick and sturdy, and I really like that it’s food-grade, lead-free, and BPA-free. I try to avoid plastic when I can, especially for food storage. These jars are also completely leak proof.When I first opened the box, there was a slight smell inside the jars, but it went away completely after I washed them.I’ve already used one to store fruit puree for a couple of days in the fridge, and it worked great. These jars seem very reliable for refrigerated storage. Just note they can’t go in the freezer, which is fine by me.The product listing says they’re dishwasher safe, but I wouldn’t risk putting the lids in the dishwasher. I’d rather hand wash them with warm soapy water and dry them thoroughly to be safe.The jars with the bamboo lids look much better than the ones with plastic lids. They’re also perfect for storing dry pantry goods. They stack well and look really nice on the shelf.

Update: sharp mouths & uneven bamboo lids. Pretty and practical! Silicone rings are a bit tricky.
Edit:Argh, it took a bit of regular use to notice it, but many of the bamboo lids aren't made totally flush with the jar body. You can feel most of them are lopsided and overhanging by a lot on one side. I also noted that the lips of the glass jars are too sharp. They seem smooth, but if you're washing the insides out with your un-gloved hand and a hot, soapy sponge, you'll frequently feel the lips of all the jars graze and nearly slice your your skin open if you're not careful.I originally gave this 4 stars. I knocked off another star for these poor quality flaws. Only 2 stars now.Old Review:The mason jars all have shoulders, so freezing will require a lot of headroom. The silicone rings, however, do require some patience to pop them in to their respective lids. I washed all parts separately first, let them dry, then I wound up grabbing a chopstick to tap them down. Felt a lot like trying to snap a too-small fitted sheet onto a slightly too large bed! After that struggle, they seem like they're very difficult to pop back out once they're inserted into their lids, so I definitely recommend washing everything before putting all the pieces together. I'd also avoid gunking the rings up with sticky or watery foods since they don't seem to come back out easily for future cleanings.Ultimately, they look gorgeous. I'm happy to have a uniform set that should be easy to clean and use on an almost daily workday basis. I was using plastic tupperware for my weekday oatmeal prep for a long time, but I wanted glass jars to replace the plastic ones.Now I can prep it all on Sunday night. I plan on mixing together the dry oatmeal ingredients so I can sleepily add a couple of liquids the day of (for me, that's a non-dairy nut milk and a small dab of vanilla extract). This way, I'm not making overnight oats that get overly mushy in the fridge by the tail-end of the work week.

Sturdy glass containers for meal prepping
I recently got this 6-pack of 16 oz overnight oats jars, and I’ve been loving them so far. The glass is thick, sturdy, and feels high quality. I mostly use them for overnight oats and yogurt parfaits, but they’ve also come in handy for salads, fruit, and even storing snacks. The 16oz quantity is perfect and I can fit a lot in there. The wide mouth makes it super easy to fill, mix, and clean, and I love that they're dishwasher safe. The bamboo lids look great and give the jars an elegant and minimalist vibe, but I will say they don’t feel 100% airtight. They're fine for the fridge or short-term storage, but I wouldn’t toss something and forget about it for long, just to be safe. That said, they’re still great for meal prepping or keeping things fresh at home. Overall, these containers are definitely worth it and I recommend them!

Form and function. Perfect!
The glass is thick and washes in the dishwasher well. I did not put the lids through the dishwasher for a few reasons: 1) they are made off bamboo and I did not want to risk dulling the finish which is really nice looking 2) they have a thin (black) plastic insert *as shown in picture and it seemed like that might risk coming apart if exposed to heat and power washing of a dishwasher 3) the rubber gasket is separate and I felt that would jeopardize it’s effectiveness or get lostThat being said, it’s a tight seal once the gasket is fitted into the lid(s). The jars are ample in size and they’re priced well enough to satisfy value and quality. If you want to be able to throw it all in the dishwasher, then this isn’t a set I would recommend. I wanted a set that looked as nice as it functioned and this was great. I would recommend.

Cute, well made glass jars for all kinds of storage needs.
These jars are perfect for my needs- overnight oats, and yogurt parfaits. I also will use them for small food leftovers. I only use glass storage, so these are just right. Well made, thick glass and easy fitting lids - the gaskets are loose so that you properly clean them (and replace when they get worn). The lids look like bamboo, but I am fairly certain they are plastic. You could also use these cute jars to store craft items, loose hardware, cosmetic poufs, whatever you want- they are really cute!
