Paella Pan! 🥘
I love the size of this paella pan and we ended up making a chicken paella. It was pretty close to the original recipe that you end up using, but we ended up substituting a different type of rice. That being said, the depth and width of this pan was sufficient enough to get that crisp and everything that you would expect out of a paella. The chicken that we used turned out great and the pan quality itself was magnificent. The pan itself has two rubber holders for the sides of the pan so that this way you can move it about quite easily. We tested to see what would happen if bpan went into the oven and we were happy to say that it fit in the oven, albeit a close fit. So those that have standard ovens do keep in mind that you can bake this as well if you need to.So the burn resistance for a stove top which was electric was quite good and it was quite good even in the oven as there's no visible damage and everything came out looking great as you can tell from the photos that we uploaded. The heat distribution here was very good. I will say that we have 12-in coil burners so it wasn't able to reach the ends of the pan. Thus, that's why we ended up putting it in the oven for the final cook. We didn't test this on a gas stove but I can say that it would probably turn out much better than what we ended up getting but as you can tell from our photos it turned out great anyway. The cleanup process for it was straightforward. Just ran some hot water and Dylan dish soap and the grease and everything came right off.

Great pan, especially for beginner paella makers like me
I had never made paella before, so admittedly, I was a little intimidated going into it - but this pan honestly made the whole process a lot easier than I was expecting. The rice didn’t stick at all, which was my biggest concern, and everything cooked really evenly even though the pan was quite a bit larger than my electric burner. Also, cleanup was easy, which I definitely appreciate. The silicone handle covers are a nice touch and make it more comfortable to move the pan around. Just a heads-up though that they do slide around a bit, but they’re easy to remove and clean, so it really wasn’t an issue for me. Just make sure you have a firm grip when lifting the pan and you're good. Another thing to note: the recipe I followed called for covering the pan with a lid and letting the paella rest for about 15 minutes. This one doesn’t come with a lid (not sure if they usually do), but I just used foil and it worked fine.Overall, this is a great pan - especially if you’re new to making paella like I am. It feels well made, cooks beautifully, and took a lot of the stress out of trying something new. Considering the price point and overall quality, I think it's a good value and I’d definitely recommend it.

Large, Well-Made Paella Pan That Also Shines for Stir Fry and Noodle Dishes
The Paelluxe 16 inch tri-ply stainless steel paella pan has turned out to be a very useful addition to our kitchen, even though we do not actually make paella. We mainly use it for stir fry and soba, and it performs beautifully for both. The wide, flat surface gives plenty of room to spread out ingredients, which helps everything cook evenly without crowding. The tri-ply construction heats quickly and distributes heat very well, so vegetables stay crisp, noodles sear nicely, and proteins brown without hot spots. The stainless steel surface is easy to clean and does not require seasoning, which makes it low maintenance compared to cast iron or carbon steel. It also feels solid and well built, with a weight that inspires confidence without being difficult to handle. The heat resistant handle covers are a thoughtful touch, especially when moving the pan from stovetop to oven or carrying it to the table. The size is perfect for family style cooking, and the pan works just as well on induction as it does on a standard range.Even outside of its traditional use, this pan has proven to be extremely versatile. For anyone who enjoys making stir fry, noodles, or other large batch dishes, this Paelluxe pan offers excellent performance, durability, and plenty of cooking space.

Huge versatile pan with great heating, but the handles are annoying
ProsThis thing is absolutely massive; you could easily fit a large pizza or a feast for 9 people.Real tri-ply build with an aluminum core for even heat without the aluminum touching your food.Excellent value at around $55 for a pan this size.Solid quality that hasn't warped yet, even with high heat.Oven and induction safe, so it works on any stove.ConsThe snap-on handle covers are way too loose.Handles flip and rotate when you're moving the pan, which feels sketchy with hot food.First off, this pan is BIG. I’m talking so big I’m actually tempted to try cooking a medium-large pizza in it. It hits a really nice price point at $55, especially since it’s a proper tri-ply setup. You get that aluminum core for good cooking, but the top and bottom are stainless so you aren't getting aluminum in your food. It’s great for way more than just paella. I've used it for a massive batch of Garlic Herb Chicken Thighs and a giant Shrimp Stir-fry, and it handles searing and frying like a champ. It’s a super useful pan to have in the kitchen. The one thing I really don't love is the handles. They have these snap-button covers you can take off for cleaning, but they are just too loose. They flip and spin around while you're trying to carry it, and when you've got a pan full of hot food, you want the handles to feel secure, not floppy. If they fixed the handles, this would be a perfect 5 stars, but even with that issue, I'm pretty happy with the quality.
