Ah yes, the unsung heroes of leftovers, soup hoarders, and people who swear they’ll meal prep this week. These are classic 16oz deli containers, and honestly, they know exactly who they are.The plastic is sturdy enough to survive being stacked, dropped, shoved into an overfilled fridge, and judged silently every time you open the door. They don’t do that flimsy “I might crack if you look at me wrong” thing. Soup, chili, curry, mystery sauce from Tuesday night. All contained. Mostly without leaks, assuming you didn’t cross-thread the lid like a monster.The lids snap on securely and fit interchangeably, which is the real deli-container luxury. When I cook I like to have what is called "mise en place" by pro chefs. That basically means having all ingredients measured and ready before cooking. These plastic containers are very well made. They are strong and durable.The plastic is much thicker and sturdier than I thought it would be. I'm not worried about the plastic cracking.The lids snap on tight and don't fall off. The lids make the containers leakproof and airtight.Because the plastic is so strong, these containers can easily be used in the freezer, as well as be used over and over again.The containers are very easy to clean. I have only handwashed them so far, but they are dishwasher safe.While these containers are handy to have around for food storage, they are also great containers to use for various craft projects.I'm currently using the containers to store handmade paper clay. The clay is moist when I store it in the containers, and because the containers are airtight, they hold the moisture in, so the paper clay doesn't dry out. I'm very happy with that.I plan on using the containers for paint projects as well. I appreciate that the plastic is translucent, so you can see the contents of what is in each container.Overall, I am very happy with the quality and function of these containers.
